![]() Energy needed to produce 1 Mass is in table below: Supreme Commander (vanilla) To calculate energy I'm going to look at Mass Fabricators. On the internet I encountered once a claim that 1 Mass equals 2 tons, but there was no evidence. But since aircrafts in Supreme Commander universe can refuel themselves and allegedly in-game gravity is 10 G, then maybe they have some technologies inside that make them very heavy ('Wasp' would have to have a mass of 2000 tons, if we want to stick to '1 Mass equals 5 tons' claim). Earlier I also tried to compare UEF's T3 Air Superiority Fighter 'Wasp' to F-22 Raptor, but that gave 1 Mass equal 188 kg. I've used these two units, because I could find their real-life counterparts which give similar value of Mass. It resembles real-life Arleigh Burke-class destroyer (appearance, armament and to some extent size), which can have a mass up to 9700 tons. Next, let's look at UEF's T2 cruiser, the Governor-class. Although Summit-class is more bulky and has HUGE turrets, I assume its interior is less crammed. Size of these two battleships is very similar. If we assume that none of the Mass isn't wasted during building process, then we get 1 Mass equal 5.2 tons. Iowa-class had (on average) mass of 58460 tons. This battleship resembles real-life Iowa-class battleship. Let's look at UEF's T3 battleship, the Summit-class. ![]() ![]() TL DR 1 Mass is 5 metric tons and 1 Energy is up to 1.125*10^19 J Mass SC:FA Units Database with sizes, speeds, weapon range etc. I've decided I will calculate how much 1 Mass is (in metric tons) and 1 Energy (in joules). ![]()
